Best dedicated hosting in India

When you are looking for the best dedicated server hosting in India, it depends on your workload, support needs, and budget. The managed Indian infrastructure can go with eWebGuru, YouStable, and MilesWeb. E2E Networks, RedSwitches, and OVHcloud are best for developer oriented bare-metal servers. The cloud and global workloads working on an enterprise scale can rely on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

What Is Dedicated Server Hosting?

Dedicated server hosting provides exclusive access to an entire physical server. It’s different  from shared hosting or a VPS. The reason is that its CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, and network resources are not sharable. It means you don’t need to share anything with other users.

What is dedicated hosting

So a dedicated server suits your setup when you need:

  • Consistent performance during traffic spikes
  • Full root or administrator access
  • Custom software, firewall, and security configurations
  • High-performance databases and applications
  • Dedicated IP addresses
  • Better isolation from other hosting customers
  • Hardware-level control through IPMI or KVM

Dedicated Server vs VPS vs Cloud Hosting

How We Tested and Analysed Providers

We have been working with hosting and migration projects for Indian businesses for a long time. I have seen that the right dedicated server is rarely the cheapest one on a comparison page.

The right choice depends on CPU generation, NVMe availability, bandwidth commitments, support quality, renewal pricing, and the team managing the server.

We evaluated various providers using publicly available plan information, official documentation, data-centre and network details, support policies, and real-world workload requirements.

The Evaluation criteria

We assessed each provider on certain aspects:

dedicated hosting evaluation criteria
  • Indian data-centre presence: Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and other Indian locations.
  • Hardware quality: CPU generation, RAM, NVMe/SSD storage, RAID options, and IPMI/KVM access.
  • Network performance: Bandwidth, port speed, peering, latency, and DDoS protection.
  • Pricing transparency: Advertised price, renewal price, setup fees, bandwidth limits, and add-on costs.
  • Managed services: OS updates, monitoring, security patching, backups, migration, and incident response.
  • Support quality: Availability, response channels, escalation process, and technical expertise.
  • Reliability: Uptime commitments, redundancy, disaster recovery, and service history.
  • Scalability: Upgrade paths for CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, and additional IPs.

How We Tested Them

We reviewed the following wherever possible:

  • Provider plan pages and official documentation
  • Data-centre and network information
  • Uptime and SLA commitments
  • Support and migration policies
  • Customer feedback from Reddit, Trustpilot, G2, and Google Reviews
  • Hardware configurations for WordPress, WooCommerce, SaaS, database, and gaming workloads

Keep in Mind

Keep in mind that pricing, hardware availability, and promotional offers change frequently. That’s why the results reflect the information available at the time of writing and may vary by configuration, billing term, location, and support plan.

Best for: Indian enterprises and developers that need programmable infrastructure, automation, and bare-metal performance.

E2E Networks is an India-born infrastructure provider with bare-metal, cloud, GPU, and compliance-focused options. It is suitable or I can say relevant for teams using infrastructure-as-code, APIs, containers, and hybrid cloud environments.

What User Say About it:

2E Cloud offers solid performance with reliable uptime. I host some of my websites along with several of my clients’ websites. I have been using it for years and have never ever contacted them for downtime issues. Their panel is easy to use and operate. Since I use Cpanel hosting, I never needed their support after the initial setup. I am comfortable with managing everything with WHM and Cpanel. The cloud infrastructure is highly scalable and pricing is also competitive for small businesses. The server’s performance is great and their customer support is also responsive and helpful.

Source: G2Reviews

While there are some negative voices for their connectivity and support as well on Reddit.

Since today 12am, our servers in E2E Cloud’s Delhi region are facing connectivity issue because one of their scheduled maintenance went wrong. They’ve published incident report https://status.e2enetworks.com/incidents/109 but nothing works till now.

Customer care doesn’t forward the call to agent. Sales representative who was sweet enough to onboard us doesn’t pick up the call. Emails not replied. Support ticket not attended.

I haven’t had a bad experience with RedSwitches. We use the dedicated servers for our project, and they have been working great. A couple of issues that we did have were promptly resolved by realtime support, and what we thought to be a technical problem on their part turned out to be our fault, and they walked us through on how to fix it

Source: Trustpilot

On the other hand, their lackings are highlighted by the users on same Trustpilot platform.

I purchased a dedicated server thinking it will be deployed in 10 minutes as it says on their whole website. Little did I know, it takes 24 hours to get it deployed. And they do not own the infrastucture, they resell velia.net servers. I asked for a firewall and they said they do not have any firewalls for any servers. And the BMC, aka BIOS is publically accessible by anyone. Very insecure and bad service by RedSwitches.

7. OVHcloud

It’s one of the perfect options for Bare-Metal Control with a global data network.

Best for: Technical teams that need global infrastructure, high bandwidth, and hardware-level control.

I currently use both dedicated servers and VPS servers, and I am extremely satisfied with their performance, reliability, and overall quality. The infrastructure is stable, the network connectivity is excellent, and the pricing is very competitive for the resources provided.

Source: Trustpilot

But some of the reviews went on the other side as well.

Despite paying over ₹1.5 lakh… five dedicated servers were terminated or made unavailable without a clear prior suspension notice explaining the action.

Cons

  • Higher starting price than many Indian providers
  • Less flexible for custom hardware configurations

Best for: WordPress agencies, content sites, and businesses that prefer managed hosting.

See what users experienced about it:

The support is able to fix most problems and walk me through the solution that they can’t do. Their offering has changed over the years but they still offer a good value. The servers are good and stay online for the amount of time advertised.

Source: G2Reviews

On the other hand some users have concerns regarding consistency.

I am extremely disappointed with Bluehost’s hosting service. My websites keep going down repeatedly without any clear reason, and they only start working again after I contact their support team. This is completely unacceptable for a paid hosting service.

9. InMotion Hosting

If you want a good managed security solution this one is good to go.

Best for: Businesses that prioritise managed security, proactive monitoring, and enterprise support.

InMotion Hosting offers managed dedicated servers with NVMe storage, advanced security, monitoring, and a 99.95% uptime guarantee. Its primary infrastructure lies outside India. That’s the reason it is better suited to global workloads than india based latency hungry applications.

Cons

  • No India-only server plans
  • Premium pricing
  • Indian latency may be higher than local providers

See what some users shared about that.

What I like most about InMotion Hosting is the combination of flexible dedicated server options and responsive technical support. The Sales team took the time to understand my infrastructure requirements, and Support was willing to involve their NetOps team when I encountered a private VLAN networking issue. For a more advanced environment using multiple dedicated servers and Proxmox, having access to people who can troubleshoot issues beyond the basic hosting layer is particularly valuable.

Source: G2Reviews

However some of them also have negative experiences.

I’ve been using them for years.

Had a few reliability issues along the way, but not bad.

My biggest problem came when my site started getting too much traffic and I exceeded their limits. They automatically shut me off, and sent an email telling me I needed to upgrade. That’s all well and good, but the email server was also shut down as part of the site shutdown, so I didn’t get the email.

How to Choose the Best Dedicated Server in India

You can look through these to find the right one for your needs and setup.

Understand your workload

Start with the actual resource requirements of your application.

  • Database workloads: Prioritise NVMe storage, RAM, and stable disk performance.
  • Intense CPU workloads: Prefer modern CPU cores and strong single-thread performance.
  • Bandwidth craving workloads: Pick port speed, bandwidth allowance, and network peering.
  • High-traffic websites: Go for caching, CDN integration, and scalable bandwidth.
  • Compliance-sensitive workloads: Give preference to data location, backups, access controls, and audit support.

Choose the Right Indian location

Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad are the main infrastructure hubs for most Indian businesses.

  • Mumbai: Strong default for national coverage and international connectivity.
  • Delhi NCR: Better for north India-focused audiences.
  • Bengaluru: Strong for south India and technology-focused businesses.
  • Hyderabad: Good for central and southern India.

Choose the right hardware

Avoid choosing a server only based on the lowest price. Always:

  • Prefer modern AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon processors for demanding workloads.
  • Use NVMe storage for databases, WooCommerce, and high-IOPS applications.
  • Use RAID 1 or RAID 10 for redundancy.
  • Confirm IPMI/KVM access for remote management.
  • Check whether backups are included, optional, or charged separately.

If you are deciding between operating systems, read our guide on Windows vs Linux dedicated servers.

Decide between Managed and Unmanaged

Choose managed hosting if you do not have a dedicated sysadmin or DevOps team. It covers monitoring, patching, security updates, backups, and incident response.

Choose unmanaged hosting if you are a technical expert and want full control over the operating system, software stack, and security configuration.

Plan for growth

Ask the provider some important questions before making buying decision:

  • Can I upgrade CPU, RAM, storage, and bandwidth without migration?
  • What is the renewal price after the promotional term?
  • Are backups included or charged separately?
  • What is the uptime SLA and compensation policy?
  • Is DDoS protection included?
  • What is the support response time for critical issues?
  • Is migration assistance included?
  • Can I get a dedicated IP or IPv6 addresses?

How Much Does a Dedicated Server Cost in India?
