Managed WordPress Hosting India

WordPress on a private VPS, in an Indian data centre, with the server handled for you.

Most "WordPress hosting" in India is shared hosting with a one-click installer attached. Yours sits on a private VPS with dedicated CPU and RAM, running LiteSpeed and LSCache, in Tier-IV facilities in Delhi NCR and Mumbai. We have been hosting Indian businesses since 2007 and run our own network under AS133643, so routing to your site is something we control rather than rent.

WordPress comes pre-installed. Migration from your current host is free, with no limit on the number of sites. If something breaks at 2am, there is a person on the other end. Running a store? Our WooCommerce hosting page goes deeper on store sizing.

Sizing

Which plan do you actually need?

Buying too much hosting is as common as buying too little. Here's how we size it.

What your site isPlanWhy
Under 20,000 visits a month, a handful of plugins, no storeWP Starter / WP BasicA cached WordPress page is served from memory, and 1–3 GB of RAM handles that comfortably. Most small business sites never outgrow WP Basic.
Content-heavy, 50,000+ visits, or 30+ pluginsWP ProPlugin count matters more than page count for RAM. Each active plugin loads on every uncached request, and page builders like Elementor or Divi are heavier than they look.
WooCommerce, LearnDash, BuddyPress, logged-in usersWP Business and upCart, checkout and account pages can't be page-cached, so every one of those requests hits PHP and MariaDB directly. Four cores is where stores stop feeling sluggish under load.
Multiple client sites on one serverWP Business upwardThere's no site limit on any plan — you can run twenty installs on WP Starter if you want — but they share the same CPU and RAM. The constraint is resources, not licences.

Running a store? Read the store sizing first

WooCommerce behaves differently from a content site: the pages that matter most for revenue are exactly the pages that can't be cached. We've written the sizing out in detail on the WooCommerce hosting page.

If you'd rather just ask, tell us your daily order volume and catalog size and we'll pick the plan for you.

Scope of Service

What "managed" covers, and what it doesn't

Every hosting company uses the word differently, so here's our line.

We handle

Server provisioning, OS and control panel updates, PHP and MariaDB configuration, LiteSpeed and cache setup, firewall rules, SSL issue and renewal, backup configuration and restores, DNS and domain pointing, WordPress installation, migration from your old host, and diagnosing hosting-level errors — 502s, memory limits, database connection failures, cron problems, mail delivery.

We help with

Working out whether a slow or broken site is a server problem or a plugin problem. That diagnosis is free and we do it often. If a bad plugin update is eating your CPU, we'll tell you which one and restore your backup.

We don't do

Theme or plugin development, custom code debugging, content work, or SEO. If your checkout breaks because two payment plugins conflict, we'll show you the error and the timeline, but fixing that plugin is between you and its developer.

Updates stay under your control

Auto-updates apply to WordPress core security releases. Plugin and theme updates stay yours to approve, because a silent plugin update on a live store is how sites break at the worst possible time. If you want us to manage those too, ask and we'll set it up.

Platform

The stack your site runs on

  • LiteSpeed Web Server with LSCache. LSCache is a server-level cache, not a PHP plugin, so a cached page is served without WordPress or PHP being involved at all. Install the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin from your dashboard and it connects automatically.
  • PHP 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, switchable per site from the control panel. WordPress currently recommends 8.3 or newer. If you're on an older host still running PHP 7.4, this alone is usually a visible speed difference.
  • MariaDB 10.6+, with database performance tuned for WordPress rather than left at package defaults.
  • NVMe SSD storage. WordPress generates a large number of small reads and writes — options, transients, sessions, order records — and NVMe handles that pattern far better than SATA SSD or spinning disk.
  • Cloudflare CDN for static assets, so images, CSS and JS are served from an edge location near the visitor.
  • Dedicated IP and full root access on every plan, if you want it.
Migration

Free WordPress migration

Already hosted elsewhere? We move it. No charge, no limit on the number of sites, and no requirement that you cancel your old host first.

We review your setup

Files, database size, PHP version, plugin list, and anything unusual like a custom cron or a hardcoded URL.

We copy the site across

Files, database, and email accounts if you're using them on the old host.

You test before DNS changes

A temporary URL or hosts-file entry lets you click through the whole site on the new server while the old one is still live.

You approve, we switch DNS

We handle the records and set a low TTL beforehand to keep propagation short.

We watch it after go-live

If something surfaces in the first few days, we're already familiar with your setup.

Timeline

Most single-site migrations finish the same working day. Large stores or multi-site networks take longer and we'll tell you upfront.

Security

Security and backups

A WordPress site is broken into far more often through an outdated plugin than through the server. We cover the server side properly and give you the tools for the rest.

SSL — free, automatic, on every domain
Free Let's Encrypt certificates, issued automatically and renewed automatically. Every plan, every domain and subdomain, no upsell. Paid DV, OV and EV certificates are available from our SSL certificates range if you need a warranty or organisation validation.
Backups — weekly off-server, with daily available
Weekly automated backups stored off the server, restorable through support. If you need daily or hourly backups — and if you run a store, you do — we can add Acronis or Comet on your account.
DDoS protection and firewall
DDoS filtering at the network edge on every plan, plus firewall rules maintained by our team rather than left at defaults.
Isolation — your own VPS, not a shared box
Your site runs on its own VPS. A compromised or runaway site on someone else's account can't touch your resources, which is not true of shared hosting no matter what the sales page says.
What's on you
Keep plugins updated, delete the ones you stopped using, don't install nulled themes, and use strong admin passwords with two-factor. We'll point out obvious problems when we see them in your account.
Latency

Why hosting your site in India matters

If most of your visitors are in India, the physical distance between them and your server is a real number, not a marketing point.

A request to a server in the US adds roughly 200–250 ms of round-trip latency versus one in Mumbai or Delhi. That penalty applies to the initial HTML response and then again to every uncached asset. It's one of the reasons Indian sites on cheap US shared hosting feel slow no matter how much the host optimises WordPress.

Our servers sit in Tier-IV certified facilities in Delhi NCR and Mumbai. We operate our own autonomous system, AS133643, with deployments in CtrlS, Iron Mountain and Yotta, so we manage our own routing and peering rather than depending on a reseller upstream.

If your audience is international, Cloudflare's edge network handles static assets globally while the origin stays in India.

Comparison

WordPress hosting compared with your other options

OptionCostWhere it fits
Shared hostingCheaperFine for a low-traffic brochure site. The catch is that your CPU and RAM are shared with hundreds of accounts, so your performance depends on strangers' traffic. No amount of optimisation on your end fixes that.
Unmanaged Linux VPSSimilarSame hardware, roughly the same price, but you own the operating system. If you're comfortable with SSH, package updates, firewall rules and MariaDB tuning, an unmanaged Linux VPS is a fine choice and you won't need us.
Managed WordPress VPS₹249 – ₹4,500Dedicated resources with the server work handled for you. The right answer for most business sites and stores that don't want to spend Saturdays on sysadmin.
Dedicated serverHigherOnce you're consistently saturating 4 cores and 16 GB — a large store, a busy publisher, or twenty active client sites — a dedicated server gives you more headroom per rupee. Below that, a VPS is the better economics.

You can upgrade between WordPress plans without rebuilding anything. We move the account and you keep the same setup.

Pricing

What WordPress hosting costs in India

Our plans run from ₹249 to ₹4,500 a month depending on resources. The lower prices are on longer billing terms, which we show you before you pay rather than after.

Two things worth checking on any Indian host's pricing page, ours included

The renewal price. A ₹99 first-year plan that renews at ₹499 is a ₹499 plan with a discount attached. Look at what you pay in year two before you compare anything.

What isn't included. SSL, backups, migration and support are billed as add-ons by several hosts in this market. All four are included in every plan here. A cheaper base price with three paid add-ons is not cheaper.

Every plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. If it doesn't perform the way we said it would, you get a refund, not an argument.

They moved four WordPress sites off my old shared host in a single day and nothing broke. Page load went from about four seconds to under one. The support team actually answers.

Our WooCommerce store used to slow down every time we ran a sale. On a 4-core plan with LiteSpeed, checkout stayed quick right through Diwali traffic.

I host client sites here. A plugin update took a site down and they identified the plugin and restored the backup before the client even called me. Five years and no regrets.

FAQ

WordPress Hosting — Frequently Asked Questions

What is managed WordPress hosting?
Hosting where the provider runs the server for you — updates, security, caching, backups, SSL and support — while you manage the website itself. At eWebGuru each account is a private VPS rather than a shared account, so the CPU and RAM are yours alone.
Is WordPress pre-installed?
Yes, WordPress is pre-installed on every plan. You can also install it yourself through Softaculous, or we can install it for you on additional domains.
Which PHP version do you support?
PHP 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, switchable per site from the control panel. WordPress recommends PHP 8.3 or newer.
Do you offer free SSL?
Yes. Free Let's Encrypt certificates on every domain and subdomain, issued and renewed automatically at no cost.
Will you migrate my existing WordPress site?
Yes, free of charge, with no limit on the number of sites. We copy files and database, let you test on the new server, then switch DNS when you approve. Most single-site migrations complete the same working day.
How many websites can I host on one plan?
There's no fixed limit. Unlimited domains, subdomains and databases on every plan. The practical limit is the CPU and RAM of the plan you choose.
Where are your servers located?
Tier-IV certified data centres in Delhi NCR and Mumbai. We run our own network under AS133643 with deployments in CtrlS, Iron Mountain and Yotta.
Are backups included?
Weekly automated off-server backups on all plans, restorable through support. Daily or continuous backup is available as an add-on through Acronis or Comet, which we recommend for stores.
Do you support WooCommerce?
Yes. Store pages can't be page-cached, so we suggest starting at WP Business (4 core, 8 GB) for anything past a handful of daily orders. See our WooCommerce hosting page for sizing.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. We move your account to the larger plan and you keep the same configuration. There's no rebuild and no migration fee.
Do you handle plugin and theme updates?
WordPress core security updates apply automatically. Plugin and theme updates stay under your control by default, since an unattended plugin update on a live site is a common cause of breakage. We can manage them for you on request.
Is this shared hosting?
No. Each WordPress hosting account runs on its own VPS with dedicated CPU, RAM and IP address. Nobody else's traffic affects your site.
What support do you provide?
24x7 by ticket, live chat and phone. Hosting-level problems are ours to fix. Plugin, theme and content issues we'll diagnose and point you in the right direction, but the fix belongs with the developer.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
30 days on all WordPress hosting plans.
