Pick your Ubuntu release, tell us what you're running, and we hand you a VMware-backed VPS in Delhi NCR inside an hour. Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS, 22.04 LTS — or upload your own ISO if you have a hardened image you already trust.
Every plan is fully managed. You get root, and you also get our engineers on the same server when something breaks at 2am. Plans from ₹249/month with NVMe SSD, unlimited bandwidth and DDoS protection. If you're comparing distributions first, start at our Linux VPS hosting page.
This is the first real decision, and most VPS providers dodge it. Here's the straight answer.
| Ubuntu release | Codename | Released | Security updates until | Use it if |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 26.04 LTS | Resolute Raccoon | April 2026 | April 2031 | New builds with no control-panel requirement. Newest kernel, newest PHP/Python/Node from the repos. |
| 24.04 LTS | Noble Numbat | April 2024 | April 2029 | The safe default. The only Ubuntu release cPanel currently supports, and the newest one Plesk supports. |
| 22.04 LTS | Jammy Jellyfish | April 2022 | April 2027 | Legacy applications pinned to older library versions, or a like-for-like migration from an existing 22.04 box. |
| 20.04 LTS | Focal Fossa | April 2020 | Ended May 2025 (ESM only) | Only if an application genuinely won't run on anything newer. We'll deploy it, but we'll tell you to plan a migration. |
We deploy interim releases (25.10, 26.10) on request too, but we don't recommend them for production. They get nine months of updates and then you're doing a distribution upgrade whether you wanted to or not.
If you plan to run cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin on your Ubuntu VPS, do not deploy Ubuntu 26.04 yet. cPanel & WHM qualifies exactly one Ubuntu LTS at a time, and right now that's 24.04. Plesk's newest supported release is also 24.04, with 26.04 support targeted for later in 2026. DirectAdmin covers 20.04, 22.04 and 24.04.
Want a control panel? Deploy Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Command line only, Docker, or a custom stack? Ubuntu 26.04 LTS is fine and gives you a longer runway.
We see people get this wrong roughly twice a month. They deploy the newest Ubuntu, then find their cPanel licence won't install and need a rebuild. Ask us first and we'll save you the reinstall.
All plans run the same platform — the difference is CPU, RAM and NVMe. Every one ships with your choice of Ubuntu release.
All six plans run the same platform. The only difference is CPU, RAM and NVMe allocation. Every plan includes full root, one dedicated IPv4, unlimited bandwidth, DDoS protection and our managed support.
Need something outside these tiers? Tell us your traffic, your database size and your peak concurrency, and we'll size it properly. Custom configurations are routine, not an exception.
Most hosts use "managed" to mean "we'll reboot it if you ask." Here's what our team handles on an Ubuntu VPS.
ufw or iptables baseline, fail2banunattended-upgrades so security patches land without you watchingCompare it against what you'd move up from, and what you'd move up to.
A VPS gives you an isolated slice of a physical host. A dedicated server gives you the whole machine. Move up to dedicated when you hit one of these walls:
Our Mightiest VPS (4 core / 16 GB / 200 GB NVMe at ₹4,500) is roughly the point where a dedicated server starts making financial sense too. When you get there, we'll say so rather than upselling you into a bigger VPS.
WordPress on Ubuntu is straightforward, and the performance gain over shared hosting is real — but only if the stack is configured properly. A default LAMP install with no caching will not outperform a decent shared host.
What we set up on a WordPress Ubuntu VPS:
innodb_buffer_pool_size sized to your actual database, not the default 128 MBufw with only 22, 80 and 443 open, plus fail2ban on wp-loginFor a WooCommerce store with real traffic, start at Pearl (5 GB RAM) or Mighty (8 GB). WordPress itself is light; it's the plugins, the WooCommerce cart sessions and the database that eat RAM.
If you're deploying anything that isn't PHP-on-cPanel, this is where an Ubuntu VPS earns its cost. Common stacks we deploy:
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS → Nginx → Node.js (PM2) → PostgreSQL Ubuntu 26.04 LTS → Caddy → Python/Gunicorn → PostgreSQL + Redis Ubuntu 24.04 LTS → Nginx → PHP-FPM 8.3 → MariaDB Ubuntu 26.04 LTS → Docker Compose (full stack, reverse-proxied)
Docker runs natively — no nested-virtualization workarounds, no container-inside-container weirdness, because you're on a real VM. Same for Kubernetes single-node setups (k3s), CI runners, WireGuard endpoints and self-hosted tooling like Gitea, n8n or Metabase.
Teams commonly run one small VPS as staging and a larger one as production. Both on the same network, both in Delhi NCR, so your staging environment actually resembles production.
Root access cuts both ways. Here's what we set up by default, and what we'd tell you to do yourself.
restic, borg or rclone all work fine and our team will help you configure the cron.PermitRootLogin prohibit-password at minimum.ufw default deny incoming, then open only what you need. Most VPS compromises we clean up trace back to a database or Redis port left open to the world.unattended-upgrades for security patches. sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow unattended-upgrades.Choose from the plans above, or tell us your workload and we'll size it for you.
At checkout, or in a ticket right after — 26.04, 24.04, 22.04, or a custom ISO.
INR or USD, monthly or on a longer term. Indian customers are billed in INR with GST.
Root credentials and your IP arrive by email, typically well inside an hour.
Or tell us what to install and our engineers will set the stack up for you.
Switch DNS to the new IP once you've tested everything on the server.
Migrating from another host? We do the move for you at no cost — sites, databases, mail, DNS. Send us access to the old server and we'll schedule the cutover.

26.04, 24.04 or 22.04 LTS at deployment — or supply your own hardened ISO and we'll install from it.

Root on every plan, managed or not. apt install anything, tune any sysctl, load any kernel module.

NVMe across every tier. No SATA SSD tier and no spinning-disk fallback anywhere in the fleet.

Our own ASN, AS133643, so routes to Indian ISPs are short and the peering is ours, not resold transit.

Root credentials and your IP by email within the hour of cleared payment, usually a good deal sooner.

Unmetered traffic on every Ubuntu VPS plan, with DDoS protection filtering in front of it.

Let's Encrypt issued and auto-renewing, on your sites and on your admin interfaces too.

Sites, databases, mail and DNS moved from your current host at no cost, scheduled around your traffic.
